Crypto Faucets: Earning Coins Made Easy

Faucet is a cryptocurrency reward system, usually on a website or in an app, that rewards users for completing certain tasks.

What is Faucet?

Faucet is a cryptocurrency reward system that rewards cryptocurrency holders for completing certain tasks on a site. It is said to be an easy way to earn crypto-assets that does not require special knowledge, unlike trading cryptocurrency. Tasks can consist of viewing ads or passing captchas.

This reward system was designed to encourage the purchase of cryptocurrencies, especially altcoins, which are alternative digital currencies to bitcoin. In 2019, faucets’ payouts have become increasingly low following the rise in cryptocurrency prices. Typically, faucets require the user to fill out a captcha in order to receive a small portion of the coins. Not surprisingly, among the most popular forms of faucets are bitcoin faucets.

In the beginning bitcoin faucets were worth as much as five BTC. Later there were faucets tied to cryptocurrencies such as Ethereum, Dogecoin and Litecoin.

Most faucet rewards are paid directly to the user’s wallet or to a third-party developer’s wallet. The faucet should not be confused with airdrops and bounties, which are also other ways of receiving cryptocurrency rewards. Airdrops are usually distributed by cryptocurrency startups and give a one-time reward for helping a firm build a community.

Bitcoin Aliens is a faucet that was developed in 2014. It allows users to earn a number of key cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, from their phone as rewards for playing games.
